When the design is complete, it is then flattened or merged into a single image which gets cut-up into smaller pieces. These pieces (which enable the design to load faster over the web) are then put back together like a puzzle within the HTML code.
What you are purchasing are the pieces of the overall image, updated to your current HTML code & installation.
The source file is retained by SittingBoo as intellectual property.
