Every child is an artist.
The problem is how to remain an
artist once we grow up.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Army Wife, Dog Lover, Chocoholic

Growing up, Jennifer had quite the crayon collection & looked forward to the new box each school year brought. She began oil painting at age 7, won her first 'best-of-show' award at age 10, was placed in advanced art classes by age 12 & continued her love of art & color through-out her grade-school years.

However, when life called for her to 'grow-up & get a real job', she did - in Transportation Logistics for the telecom industry.

She followed that career for 12 years, rapidly climbing the corporate ladder until the telecom bubble burst. After surviving 5 rounds of lay-offs, her number finally came up.

With the love & support of her new-found love, Jennifer decided to embrace the path life had originally set out for her.

That choice not only filled her life with art & color, but with a with lasting love. Jennifer Hendrickson is now the proud wife of a career US Army soldier.

So when the Army calls and it's time to move once more, Jennifer can simply pack-up the laptop, work from the road & set-up the studio wherever the Army lands them.

ABOUT BOO

Bullmastiff Extraordinaire

Boo was a faithful companion for nearly 10 years - a full & long life for such a big dog.

But on July 8, 2006, we unexpectedly lost our Boo to non-regenerative bone marrow cancer. And it was a heart-breaking loss.

She was like any other Bullmastiff - Boo loved to just be in the room with you, sitting at - or in most cases, ON your feet.

When the decision was made to open a graphics & website studio, there she would be - sitting at your feet. Her love & attention were constant & unconditional.

So we named the company after our silent, but ever-constant partner.

Our sitting Boo became SittingBoo Productions - a silly, but sentimental name.

BOO'S SUCCESSOR

The Heir to the Bone

Her name is Maggie Moo & she couldn't be more of a handful!

Here she is desperately hiding from the sounds of the vacuum cleaner a few days after we brought her home in June of 2008.

She's no longer the slick-faced puppy wedging herself into every nook & cranny. Maggie Moo is now a whopping 100 lbs & just starting to show the typical bullmastiff cleft in her head.

And while she may look like our Boo, she's definitely her own dog!

  • Where Boo was reserved (even as a puppy), Moo couldn't be more exhuberant.
  • Boo could care less about playing ball, but Maggie Moo loves to play soccer.
  • Boo loved to cuddle with her Kitten, and Moo loves to chase Kitten!

We couldn't imagine life without a Bullmastiff - the sighs, the grunts, the wrinkled face, not to mention the weight of them as they sit on your feet!

To learn more about the breed, you can visit the American Bullmastiff Association. (If only they'd ask SittingBoo re-do their website!)
